My views of Riga

Capital of the Republic of Latvia

The magnificent Dome (Cathedral) of Riga (Evangelical Lutheran Church), dating back to 1211 , the largest church building in Latvia.

The famous 14th century "House of the Blackheads" (right) at Town Hall Square.

 It once housed a guild of unmarried merchants.

 

The "Big Guild," now Concert Hall,  (right) in downtown Riga.

The Goethe Institute near the Roman-Catholic Church and Parliament.

St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, built in the 13th century.
