My views of Batumi

Map of the Black Sea (mural on a building in downtown Batumi).
At the eastern shore: Adjara, the ancient Kingdom of Colchis.

In Greek mythology, Colchis was the home of Aeëtes and Medea and the destination of the Argonauts.
Colchis is also thought to be the homeland of the Amazons.
